The Neo UN secretary general, Hester Gallop, requests that the Alvis base should give the Fafner Mark Sechs to the Neo UN fleet via submarine. After Shoko faints in her anemic condition, Koyo Kasugai visits her in the nurse's office, and Kazuki and Maya later come by as well. As the Neo UN fleet approaches the island, it is suddenly attacked by a Festum. Kazuki prepares to face the Festum while concurrently saving the fleet.
